NEW DISTRIBUTOR INFORMATION

Distributor Opportunities

Many territories are available at this time for companies interested in distributing GOCT products. If you are interested, please examine the requirements stated below. After reading the requirements, please examine the existing distributor list located on this site. If you believe your preferred territory to be available, contact GOCT by e-mail for further information and discussion. Direct inquiries to Mr. David A. Hill.

Stocking Distributor Requirements

Any distributor candidate in any available territory shall have several options. First, the candidate may operate with no exclusivity with regard to territory or products. Secondarily, the candidate may choose to have exclusivity over a given area for a specific set or range of products. Third, the candidate may choose exclusivity in a given territory for the entire line of GOCT products. Each scenario requires different inventory and performance requirements. In each scenario, training is recommended for a minimum of 7 days. Training at a GOCT location is available at the candidate's expense. Expense includes travel, hotels, meals, and incidentals. $300.00 US per person is charged for training materials. These become the property of the candidate or his trainees. No additional charge is added for training time. Training will include chemistry of products, equipment, types of installations, mixing and handling of products, etc.

Non-Exclusive Distributor

The Non-Exclusive Distributor simply purchases products from GOCT at distributor pricing for so long as no Exclusive Distributor acquires the territory. If and when an Exclusive Distributor is appointed, the Non-Exclusive Distributor becomes a sub-distributor to the Exclusive Distributor, purchasing from the Exclusive Distributor at landed distributor cost plus 12%.

To initiate such a relationship, a Non-Exclusive Distribution Agreement must be signed and an initial inventory of $7,200.00 US must be purchased from GOCT (credited toward first year's purchase requirement). Thereafter, a minimum of $15,000.00 US in product and equipment must be purchased from GOCT annually. The Agreement specifies the rights and responsibilities of each party, including GOCT's responsibility to specify the price the non-exclusive Distributor will be required to pay for goods in the event an Exclusive Distributor acquires the rights to the territory or to specific products desired by the Non-Exclusive Distributor.

Exclusive Distributor Regarding Certain Products

A candidate may choose to maintain exclusivity within a territory for certain types of GOCT products rather than for the entire line. For example, the candidate might choose to represent the Incorporation Products and the Surface Products but not the Air Contact Products. In this scenario the candidate must have a minimum market area population of 3,000,000 up to a maximum of 10,000,000. (Requests for larger territories will be discussed and negotiated separately.)

The candidate must sign an agreement specifying its relationship with GOCT, its territory, and the products and future products covered. The candidate must purchase an initial inventory of $15,000.00 US (credited toward first year's purchase requirement) and an annual minimum of $30,000.00 US after the first year in any combination of products and equipment to maintain exclusivity.

Exclusive Distributor Regarding All Products

A candidate may choose to obtain exclusivity in a given territory over the entire product line. In this scenario the candidate must purchase an initial inventory of $25,000.00 US (credited toward first year's purchase requirements) and an annual minimum of $42,000.00 US in any combination of products and equipment to maintain exclusivity.

The candidate must sign an agreement with GOCT specifying the nature of the relationship, the territory, the responsibilities of each party, and the terms of the commitment. An acceptable territory must have a minimum population of 3,000,000 up to a maximum of 20,000,000. Terms for larger or smaller territories will be negotiated separately.

In each case the initial inventory may be ordered for delivery at one time, or split into two shipments up to 60 days apart.

Representatives and Agents

Opportunities exist in limited areas for the appointment of agents to represent GOCT products on a commission sales basis rather than a distributor basis. A sales agent is required to complete a training program at his/her expense, and to purchase and maintain samples of the products for demonstration to potential customers.

Agents sign an agreement with GOCT stating the nature of the relationship, the area and type of customers the agent will be contacting, and the compensation amount and terms of payment the agent will receive.

Agency arrangements are not available in all areas! Interested parties should contact GOCT by e-mail for additional information.
